Lone Working Training

Lone Working Training Course

This Lone Working Training Course is designed to provide employees and employers with the knowledge
and practical skills needed to work safely when operating alone or without close supervision.
Working alone can expose employees to additional risks, including accidents, medical emergencies,
violence, equipment failure, and delayed access to assistance. This course helps learners understand
those risks and implement effective control measures to ensure their safety while working independently.
The course covers the legal responsibilities of employers and employees, lone worker risk assessments,
safe systems of work, communication procedures, emergency planning, and practical personal safety
measures. Learners will also gain an understanding of how to identify hazards, reduce risks, and respond
appropriately in emergency situations.
This training is suitable for anyone who works alone, remotely, outside normal working hours, or in
environments where direct supervision is limited. It is particularly relevant for healthcare workers, security
personnel, cleaners, maintenance staff, engineers, delivery drivers, construction workers, mobile
workers, and remote employees.
