Safety Matters was established in June 2005 by Patricia Casey a Health and Safety, Environmental and Food Safety Consultant. Patricia primarily serviced the Food, Education and Construction industry in Kerry. The business enjoyed strong growth and now operates across all business sectors from Metal Fabrication, Wood Technology, Healthcare, Hospitality, Education, Construction, ATEX – Filling Stations, Grain Stores, Offices and much more and employs a highly skilled team of professionals to manage the health & safety issues of hundreds of Munster based businesses.
Clients effectively have a One-Stop-Health and Safety-Shop – their business is always safe and legally compliant; staff are properly trained by our expert team and those on a service package don’t need to employ a dedicated health and safety professional. Our recipe for success is using industry experts and specialist systems to highlight and promote health and safety issues for businesses.
All our staff are specialists in their own fields through qualification and experience. One of our more recent specialist areas is providing ATEX Documentation and Training for Filling Stations, Grain Stores etc. We have a specialist lead engineer with over 20 year’s experience in the electronics engineering industry who is experienced & qualified in the ATEX Regulations and document and training compilation of explosive atmospheres. We are also a member of APEA – The Association for Petroleum & Explosives Administration.
