Unresponsive patients; If the patient is unresponsive, check for breathing without using the look,listen and feel (ear to the patient’s mouth) process. Look at the casualty’s colour, pulse and rise and fall of the chest.

Unresponsive patients;

• If the patient is unresponsive, check for breathing without using the look,listen and feel (ear to the patient’s mouth) process.
• When the patient encounter is complete, doff and dispose of any PPE appropriately and finally wash your hands. Using the correct technique and use hand sanitiser.
• Dispose of used PPE into double bagged push pedal operated bins and dispose of safely.
